The Miri Rhinos is MDRU's first team or the senior team that represents the Miri Division in any tournaments, home or away. They are also MDRU's main representatives for the International Baram Trophy (15-a-side) and the Rhino's 10s, both organised by MDRU in Miri. Players from the Rhinos have also participated in the Brunei League as part of the understanding between MDRU and the Belait Pythons Rugby Club in Brunei.
